A selection of recent planning projects delivered by CA Town Planning
CA Town Planning was commissioned by BHB Architects to produce a Planning Statement to accompany an application for a replacement dwelling at Elway, Roman Road.
The site originally consisted of a large 20th century dwelling on Roman Road, colloquially known as ‘millionaires row’, within Little Aston Conservation Area.
BHB Architects designed a large arts and crafts style property. CA Town Planning produced the accompanying planning statement, justifying the site in line with national and local planning and heritage policies.

CA Town Planning were approached by the client who had unfortunately had an initial application refused for their single-storey extension. We undertook an initial feasibility assessment and found that the wrong application type had been submitted, and due to the size of the extension a householder planning application was required.
We produced a detailed Design and Access Statement to accompany the application, and liaised with the council on the client's behalf until a satisfactory solution could be found and the extension was approved.

The property sat within the Loughborough Road Conservation Area and the Heritage Statement supported the application, demonstrating that the change of use and minor alterations would not detract from the heritage asset.
